Under its creative partnership with Eddie Huang, Scion is releasing a curated EP of the author and TV producer’s favorite up-and-coming musicians next month. The EP titled Scion AV Presents: Eddie Huang’s Shellfish or Better, will be released September 8th and will be free for fans to stream and download. The EP features Keith Ape, Father, Prayers, Manolo Rose and Maxo Kream.
Leading the pack is Keith Ape, whose video for “It G Ma” has clocked over 12 million Youtube streams to date. Keith’s new single “CAMO” from the EP. The track features Bryan Cha$e and is available now as an exclusive free download via Scion Audio Visual.
Eddie Huang is an author, television producer, consummate rap music fan, restaurateur and food personality, most known for his book Fresh Off The Boat, the TV adaptation of which is scheduled to start its second season on ABC in September 2015.
Keith Ape is a 22-year-old member of The Cohort and Asian focused collective and label CXSHXNLY, whose recent remix for “It G Ma” features A$AP Ferg, Father, Waka Flocka Flame and Dumbfoundead. Fans are eagerly awaiting Keith’s upcoming collaborative project produced 100% by 808 Mafia’s Southside, to be released by CXSHXNLY.
